This notice explains how J Scott Electrical Pty Ltd handles information through https://jscottelectrical.com.au and website enquiries.
Information you provide
Our quote form asks for your name, mobile number, suburb, job type and a description of the work. We use these details to respond to your enquiry and arrange electrical services. Please only include information needed for your enquiry and avoid sensitive personal information.
Email and service providers
Website enquiries are sent to Jacob’s business correspondence inbox using Gmail. Email sent to jacob@jscottelectrical.com.au is forwarded to that inbox. Our hosting, email, backup and website security providers process information as needed to deliver those services. Their systems may process or store information outside Australia.
Website security and third-party content
The website and hosting services may record technical information such as IP addresses, browser details and requests to help operate and protect the site. The enquiry form uses temporary request limits to reduce spam. WordPress uses cookies for administrator login and preferences.
Google review content is displayed through a third-party reviews service. Loading this content or following links to Google or Instagram may share technical information with those providers, whose own privacy policies apply.
Keeping information
Enquiries are kept in business email and may also be included in service-provider backups. Retention depends on the enquiry and any ongoing work, record-keeping or security needs. Contact us to discuss the information held about your enquiry or request its correction or deletion. Some records may need to be retained for legal or business obligations.
Questions or privacy concerns
For questions, access or correction requests, or a privacy concern, email jacob@jscottelectrical.com.au or call 0424 047 005. Please explain your request and provide a way for Jacob to contact you.

This notice may be updated when the website or its information-handling arrangements change. The date above identifies the latest version.
